Expansion/improvement mode continues on the SuperMarket site. If you have a chance to visit some of the following links, let me know what you think of the changes. And remember, you may have to copy and paste the links into your browser window. Some email clients will not display the entire link.

As the Virtual CSA program continues, we will be featuring a different coop on the site each month. The Hmong American Community is this month's feature coop. You can read this month's Food and Faces, an interview with one of HAC's farmers, as well as see a new monthly Rural Coalition publication, The Juicer, containing current agricultural policy news. Check out the updated home page at http://www.supermarketcoop.com/

I am very excited to announce the expansion of the project information sections of the web page. With the help of update readers, we have reorganized the project pages, to Learn More. Visit
http://www.supermarketcoop.com/superhome.htm where you can find the policy and coop pieces sent with the previous csa boxes, as well as more details about the three principle aspects of the SuperMarket Project; the Virtual CSA, the retail store and the upcoming Product Availability Database.

And the coop directory section has been changed, as well. The map has been converted to an image map, indicating where participating cooperatives are and you can view their coop pages by clicking on those sites. We still have a lot of work to do with our Mexican members and some of the US folks, but you can check it out at http://www.supermarketcoop.com/coophome.htm

Also the CSA section now includes a Farmer's Market and CSA locator to help you find additional local food programs, as well as pieces about traditional and the virtual csa. http://www.supermarketcoop.com/virtualcsa.htm

Finally, I wanted to point out a new HOME product, Recycled Denim Rugs! They come in three sizes and are both ecologically sensitive and stylish. Next week, look for a What's New section in the retail store to point you right to the latest additions.
