SuperMarket Update #31--3/01/01

Well, the first week following
my announcement of the Virtual CSA has been exciting! We have
sold 7 memberships already and March has hardly begun. There
are 43 remaining, so reserve your subscription today!
I wanted to mention a few
developments. One subscription sold as a gift and I sent the
recipient a packet of information about the Rural Coalition and
the SuperMarket Project announcing the gift and explaining a
bit about how it will work! I am happy to do that for others.
Remember, we have a bit of flexibility during the pilot phase.
I have also been getting more
detailed information from the participating cooperatives regarding
their products. I am aiming at the end of March for mailing out
a more detailed letter and schedule, as well as a history of
this project.
