SuperMarket Update #30--2/23/01

It's official! The SuperMarket
Coop's Virtual CSA has begun and we want your support.
Starting in April, we will
carry out a six month test of this national CSA concept with
six of the SuperMarket coops. It will cost just $30 each month,
and I hope you will consider subscribing.
The boxes will contain a variety
of that particular coop's product, as well as a coop history,
suggested recipes, and other coop and SuperMarket Project information.
Example boxes may include Asian vegetables from California, apples
and cherries from Washington, syrup and honey from Maine or a
cookbook and wild rice from northern California!
We hope to have 50 subscribers
for this first run. In solidarity, be among the first subscribers
to this exciting new pilot project! Together we can build a more
just and sustainable food system!
