SuperMarket Update #17--11/02/00

Had a few technical challenges last week, in getting the update
out. I apologize for sending you two updates in the same week.
We'll get back on track by next week.
But the travel is a fantastic
way to get the word out about what we are building. This last
quarter, there has been a significant increase in interest in
our progress, by both supporters and other farming cooperatives.
We are receiving recognition as an intriguing economic alternative
for small farmers and I think, will continue to see potential
for collaboration and expansion.
But it makes for a busy return
to the office. We are preparing for a modest holiday push to
open our target audience a bit more, as well as inclusion of
a few new cooperatives. And as always, we will continue to expand
what we currently have.

find a story about the Fall River Wild Rice cooperative by farmer
and SuperMarket participant, Gail Lennon. You can read about
